That night, I had to choose to trust God when you feel anxious — not because the feeling disappeared, but because I refused to let it be the last word.

I didn’t hear an instant answer. Nothing around me changed. But something in me softened.

So I did the only thing I could do — I stopped chasing my thoughts and started repeating truth. Quietly. Slowly. Over and over. Not to force peace, but to anchor myself somewhere other than my fear.

And somewhere between the stillness and the surrender… my mind stopped running. The future stopped pulling at me. The past stopped speaking so loudly.

I fell back into rest — not because everything was solved, but because I wasn’t holding it all anymore.
